Biography (About):
Dr. Mohammad Ataei has graduated as a mining engineer from Mining Engineering Department at Shahid Bahonar University in September 1995. He finished MSc at Amikabir University of technology in August 1997. He obtained his PhD degree on Modeling of optimum cutoff grade for multi-metal deposit at Amikabir University of technology in July 2003. Currently he is holding the post of Associate Professor at Shahrood University of Technology, Shahrood, Iran. His specialists are about open pit and underground mining, mine management, operation research and optimization in mine operations, computer applications in mining, open pit design, decision making, fuzzy logic and genetic algorithm applications in mining. He is the author of four books titled ‘Underground mining’, ‘Dimension stone extraction’, ‘Multi criteria decision making’ and ‘Fuzzy Multi criteria decision making’. Dr. Ataei has published 50 Journal Papers and more than 120 conference papers. He is currently holding 2 patents. He is married and has 1 child.
