His MSc thesis was about “Leakage potential from Seymareh’s dam site”. He got his PhD degree in hydrogeology from Shiraz University where he worked on “Determining the salinity origin of produced water in Kangan Gas Reservoirs” as his thesis. During his PhD, he went on a sabbatical for six months in Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He is by far the first researcher in Iran to study hydrochemical and isotopic characteristics of deep fossil waters in a gas/oil field.
