Biography (About):
Dr. Doulati Ardejani received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mining Engineering and has obtained his Ph.D. on Modelling of Mine Hydrogeology from the University of Wollongong, NSW, Australia. Presently he is holding an academic rank of Professor at University of Tehran (School of Mining, College of Engineering), Tehran, Iran. His research interests include Mine water hydrogeology, Environmental modelling, Environmental Geochemistry, Numerical methods, Dye removal processes and Contaminant transport problems. Dr. Doulati Ardejani has served as Environmental consultant of Iran Colour Research Centre (ICRC) and National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). He is the author of two books titled ‘Biotechnology, Environmental Geochemistry and Management of Mine Drainages’ and ’Geoenvironmental Modelling’ . Dr. Doulati has published 105 Journal Papers and more than 210 conference papers. He has supervised or co-supervised the completion of 10 PhD and 65 MSc theses. He is currently holding 9 patents. He has received the following three awards: 1-Excellence in Environmental Research, 6th Annual Environmental Engineering Research Event 2002 conference, Blackheath NSW, Australia 2-Scientific material with commendation, 1st International & 2nd National Conference on Colour Science and Technology, 3-5 January 2006, Tehran, Iran 3-Science Direct, Top 25 hottest articles in: Dyes and Pigments, Jan-Mar 2006; International Journal of Mineral Processing, April-June 2012; Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering, April-June 2012.
