Biography (About):
Dr. Mohammad Bagher Rahmani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Condensed Matter and Nanophysics at the Faculty of Physics. Nanostructured metal oxides, two-dimensional materials such as transient metal dichalcogenides (2D-TMDs) including molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), and tungsten disulfide (WS2), and also graphene, as well as nanocomposites of these materials with polymers and reduced graphene oxide (rGO), are some of his research interests. These materials have also been studied for application in semiconductor devices, gas sensors, solar cells, electrochromic components, and photocatalysts.
