Abstarct: The purpose of mining is to extract minerals in a predetermined time schedule with the maximum specified production, with the lowest costs and risks associated with it and to achieve a good grinding. In this thesis, first, the method of blasting in Sangan iron mines and then the results of fire extinguishing, such as fragmentation, were analyzed using image analysis due to many problems in field observations of explosions such as boulder production and heels in the floor of the stairs as well as The retreat and, on the other hand, rising drilling costs and explosive, tried to modify the fire-fighting method. For this purpose, it has been used by the power deck method, which has been used in recent years in mines in the world and also in Iran, with satisfactory results. To do this, removing the subdrilling and placing an empty air distance of 1 meter at the bottom of the hole, while reducing the amount of drilling, also reduced the amount of material consumed per hole. After investigations after the explosion, it was found that the crushing of the rocks has improved and shook and the sound of the explosion has also decreased. In the end, economically, with this method, 15% was saved in drilling and blasting costs.
