Abstarct: It is very important to determine position and along of the main faults and minor fractures in urbon development and construction of buildings in order to identify areas with seismic potencial. One of the difficulties in using conventional resistivity method for determination of deep laxyers is absence or low electrical measured voltage, also in some cases, it is impossible to extend the cables due to natural obstacles and urbon areas. The purpose of this thesis is to increase the penetration depth of transmission current with use of powerfull transmitter and injection square signals and it is determine the operation of hidden faults in tous area in mashhad with recording continuous spectrum of potential difference between potential electrods with use of multichannel receiver. To achieve this purpose, we use rectangular array with perpendicular dipole that include 20 fixed potential electrods in 4 parallel profile. These profile was perpendicular to connecting line of current electrods. After collecting data, we identified the effective noises and it applied the best methods for remove or reduce these noises. The results were drawn in map by surfer software and it was determined the possible location of the faults. The results of this survey represent that the used electric method due to the type of array can help in determining the geometry of faults in particular hidden faults in urbon areas. In addition the results show that two deep faults with north-south along, affect the geological structures and Should be considered in engineering Issues.
