Abstarct: Oscillators are one of the widely used circuit blocks in electronic and telecommunication systems. In this study we proposed a way to design, simulate, implement and measurement of a voltage control oscillator (VCO) in 900-1400 MHz. In this project, two topologies, Cross Coupled and Positive Feedback are designed and experimented. At first, these topologies are experimented in 50-65 MHz on a bread - bored, then these are designed in PCB with SMD components for high frequency. Also we used train circuit to analyze the qualification of capacitors and inductors. We simulated these circuits in ADS and designed PCBs in Altium software. For test and measurement of signals in proposed oscillator we used Oscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Function Generator and Network Analyzer. This VCO has Dc 6.5 volt power supply and 117 mw consumption. We sweep the frequency from 960 MHz up to 1460 MHz by changing the varactor voltage from 6.5 to 30volt. Amplitude of first harmonic in above frequency range had a change from 0 up to -7dbm.
