Abstarct: Aerodynamics is a science that studies the flow of air around the objects. The research method of this science has spread in three branches of theoretical, numerical and experimental. The aerodynamic design of the car body and its continuous improvement always been of interest to researchers and the manufacturers and extensive research has been carried out in this field. The reason of this attention is greatest impact on the design of a good aerodynamic on efficiency of the vehicle. In fact, every success in the aerodynamic design of the car body can be used as help to reducing fuel consumption. Aerodynamics of samand have been discussed in this research which is trying its drag coefficient is calculated from the experimental and numerical methods. Each of these methods has its own advantages and disadvantages and in fact are complementary. in experimental method. the wind tunnel was used and tried by matching the car's drag coefficient is calculated. The model used in this study made of plastic and the scale is 1/18. This work was done in several Reynolds to verify the accuracy of the work. The drag coefficient of the Samand is calculated in numerical model also. For comparison, the best solution, various methods were compared in Fluent. Drag coefficient calculated at several different Reynolds and mesh independence are also studied. The comparison of experimental results and numerical methods are discussed and diagrams and the complete results are listed.
