Abstarct: This thesis is a study on the effect of depth in the selection of a proper design of retaining walls, which help PLAXIS 2D analysis software with a comparable economic side, made the comments at the conclusion of these discussions, comparison of a system in depth to prioritize these systems have been proposed.Soil protection walls, in both cohesive and uncohesive range has been evaluated in a variety of software systems that have been analyzed.Because of the type of application performance or lack of appropriate enforcement options, some of the designing system established should be used unique or there were limited options and overall trenches protection system stability in comparison. For example, in trenches with a little area or along rivers and coastal areas using sheet pile walls is inevitable and in a variety of Gravity walls, software is merely adopted withelastic modulus of materials and this little effect into consideration changes in the modeling module not very impressive. In this case, with a great drainage system the effect of pore water pressure are connivanced and surcharge isn’t uncountable also dynamic analysis in cases where the type of performance have influenced been done. All results with regard to regulation and control engineering judgment, optimization and the effect of soil type and depth on the appropriate systems for the design of retaining walls has been obtained.
