Abstarct: Environmental pollution, particularly contamination of soil and water resources, resulting from the indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers, caused contamination of foods and threats of human health. One of the strategies to improve the quality of agricultural products, soil, and remove pollutantts the use of organic fertilizers in agricultural products. Accordingly, in order to study the effect of mycorrhizal fungi, vermicompost and Humic acid on quality and quantity of fennel ( Foeniculum vulgare Mill) essential oil, a field experimental was conducted during growing season of 2012 at the trade farm in Damghan. The experiment was a factorial experiment in the baxse of randomized complete blocks design with three replications. The factors were mycorrhizal inoculation (inoculated and non-inoculated with glomus intraradices), vermicomost fertilizer (0, 4 and 8 Ton/hr) and two levels of humic acid (foliar application and non-foliar application) The results showed that the main effect of mycorrhizal, vermicomost and humic acid on Plant height, number of umbel per plant, 1000-seed weight, seed and biological yield, essential oil yield and seed perecentage essense was significant. Mycorrhiza increased seed yield, biological yield and essential oil yield, 8.5, 20 and 21 percent compared with control respectively. Interactions between mycorrhizal and vermicomost on number of seed per umbel, 1000-seed weight, seed yield and perecentage was significant. Interactions between mycorrhizal, vermicomost and humic acid on Plant height, biological yield, essential oil yield and seed perecentage essense was significant. baxsed on GC and GC/MS analysis, the important components of essential oil were anethole , fenchone, limonene and estragol The highest anethole (75.891%) and the lowest fenchone (8/234%), estragol (3/221%) and limonene (3/012%) in essential oil content were obtained in v3m2h2.
