Abstarct: Wheat cultivars intercropping specially those cultivars which are different in height may result in increase in yield. The reason for this is the creation of wavey canopy and effective use of environmental resources specially radiation which results in better yield of mixed as compared to monoculture. Also, wheat cultivars intercropping in the form of bed planting, in addition to effective water use, formed wavey canopy results in increase in the height of wheat. For this reason, in farming year of 1387-1388 using star, Chamran and Kavir varieties, a test in the form of complete random block by two types of flat and bed plantings and the planting ratio of 50:50 in the form row intercropping in 4 replications have been preformed in research form of farming group of Ramin Agrincultural University. baxsed on the result, maximum yield in Star and Kavir intercropping was in the form of bed planting with ….cultivar inside furrow and dwarf on the ridge with the rate of 546.3 gr/m2. The evaluation of intercropping has been done using the index of land equal rate (LER) for various treatments and cultivars. Maximum value of this index was in treatment no.10. This index was 1.37and 1.28 for Star and Kavir respectively. Other farming and competitive indices show that this combination is preferred as compared to other mixing.
