Abstarct: In this study five ligands have been prepared from the reaction of 1,2-bis(2- aminothiophenyl) ethane with substituted of Benzaldehyde in ethanol solution, then Cu(I) complex of each ligand have been synthesized in acetonitrile. Characterization of these ligands and complexes have been carried out by elemental analysis, conductivity measurements, IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, ICP and Mass spectrometry. These ligands as tetra dentate containing atoms (N, S), coordinate to the transition mextal ions and form stable complexes.
