Abstarct: The line traced out by the particle in spacetime is called the world-line. The two-dimensional surface traced out by a string in spacetime will be called the world-sheet. In this thesis, we study the world-sheet of an accelerating quark anti-quark using the AdS/CFT correspondence and discuss the effect of choosing global coordinate or Poincare coordinate of AdS/CFT in studing of the problem.
