Abstarct: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the measures taken in the field of green management and the limitations of implementing green management strategies in sport sites. The research participants included five sport managers and managers in Shahrood city and one person as manager of the consulting and green management company (6 people in total) who were selected through snowball method for interview. In addition, related articles and texts were used to collect the required data. Data analysis was performed in three stages of open coding and extraction of subcategories and main categories. To obtain the criteria for scientific research and to increase the validity of the findings, according to Lincoln and GABA (1981), four criteria of reliability, reliability, verifiability and transferability were considered during the research. The results of the research led to the identification of four main categories (management structure, green culture, greening and resource management) and 10 sub-categories in the section on measures taken to implement green management; and in the limitation section on implementing green management strategies in sporting facilitis four main categories (financial-administrative frxamework, green management requirements, green culture and facilities and facilities management) and 16 sub-categories were identified. Among the 16 identified sub-categories of organizational structure, evaluation and monitoring system, green design and managerial attitude had the highest frequency.
