Abstarct: The main purpose of this study was to compile a Pattern of Iran Sport Tourism Security management. This is an applied qualitative-quantitative study in two stages. In the first step, qualitative phase with the viewpoints of 17 experts in systematic grounded theory approach was formulated; theoretical model of research was compiled and the factors affecting the management of sport tourism security were investigated. The model showed the effectiveness of sport tourism security management strategies from causal, contextual, and confounding conditions, as well as the impact of security management on outcomes such as mental security and development. In the second step, quantitative phase was done to assess the fitness of theoretical model. Statistical population of the study included sport management professors and researchers, police, sport managers, active people in sports tourism and sporting event tourists, Sampling was made available and 240 respondents answered the questionnaire extracted from the qualitative section. Content validity of the questionnaire revised by experts and professors of sport management. EFA and discriminant validity (AVE) was used for determination of structure validity. Reliability of questionnaire was determined by Chronbach’s alpha and composite reliability. SPSS22 software was used for descxriptive statistics and LISREL software was used to evaluate the structural model. To compile structural model, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used in first and second stages for testing measurement models. Results of CFA showed that components of structures were able to measuring of related structures, results of path analysis showed that the model has good quality. In the next stage, 15 experts (8 university professors, 3 police officers, 4 people with experience holding the sport event) completed the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the Expert Choice software in order to identify factor priorities. The results of AHP showed that HRM (Human resources management) was prioritized as the most important factor and then management and planning, infrastructure, physical protection, mental security and development factor respectively.
