Abstarct: Nowadays, in medicine, implanting bone replacement materials is the most common method of implant surgery. Among the different materials, bioactive glass has received more attention due to its ability to graft bone tissue and repair it. In this research, bioactive glass 45S5 was synthesized by sol-gel method using 5 mM citric acid as a catalyst and formed a composite with carbon quantum dots in different concentrations (5, 15, 30 mL) and finally calcined at temperatures of 600°C and 1000°C. became. The optical and chemical properties of the synthesized compounds were determined by infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), fluorescence spectroscopy (PL) and elemental analysis. EDS), was characterized. Also, a targeted drug delivery test was performed to obtain the absorption and release rate of the synthesized composite on the drug doxorubicin and to prepare drug carriers.
