Abstarct: Syahoo salt dome about 16 Km2 is located in northwest Syahoo, north Bandar Abbas and Hormozgan Province. This area is located in the Zagross geological zone, which a part of Homoz series; that include volcanic, mextamorphism, and salt evaporates rocks associated carbonate, anhydride and Gypsum. The processing of Satellite image in the ENVI 5.3 software was carried out performed using principal component analysis and banding ratio analysis methods. The results from the processing of satellite images led to the discovery of alterations, iron oxide, vegetation, and halite in the study area.Geochemical studies using XRF methodfor 386 samples were taken for analysis of potassium and about 17 samples were taken to perform XRD analysis in order to determine the potassium minerals in the region. Data processing and normalization have been done using SPSS 16 software and mapping of abnormally maps of the area by SURFER 10 software. On the basis of geology, remote sensing and geochemistry studies, two targets with high values of potash (as sylvite mineral) are shown in two area in the west and east area. The results led to the introduction of two drilling points in the western part of the Syahoo.
