Abstarct: One of the ways that today in the interpretation of seismic data reflects the interpreter facilitates work is the use of seismic attributes. Used in identification of faults, buried delta, fluvial channel, reefs, thin laxyers, change facies rocks and etc. Seismic attributes are different types of markers in the study of seismic coherence (coherence seismic attribute) and spectral analysis is used. Represents an efficient way to portray a cohesive seismic discontinuity structural such as faults and stratigraphic deposits as channels, and adverse changes in the seismic response reveals. There are several ways use to calculate the coherence of seismic markers in the study of algorithms specific structure (eigenstructure-baxsed algorithm). Using spectral analysis show, spectral range of geological discontinuity.
To calculate the spectral analysis of linear time - frequency is used short-time Fourier transform. In this research, to identify the quality of geological discontinuity at different scales, the combination of is used spectral decomposition and coherency. In this study is considered appropriate, the combination of these two markers in identifying fault resolution. In order to demonstrate the use of a combination of the two markers, the markers on real seismic data taken from one of Iran's gas fields have been implemented located in the North East. As well as to enable the combination of the two markers were compared, the combination of these two markers with markers seismic coherence and spectral analysis. The results showed that the resolution represents a combination of the two is greater than the resolution of each of the markers.
