Abstarct: In open pit mining, the final pit limit must be determined. The final pit limit shows the shape and size of mine at the end of mine life, and Indicate that the outside of this limit the open pit mining operation is not economical. Determining of ultimate open pit mines is necessary to locate the position of waste damp in mine job site, processing factory, access roads and particularly in production planning. Production planning is also vital in the designing of open pit mines. In order to maximize the NPV and provide required grades, following the precise production planning is necessary in which the extraction sequence of mineral blocks is playing critical role. In this thesis to determine the final pit limit of Morvarid Iron Ore Mine, the first step is to provide a geological block model with Data Mine software and then designing of final pit limit with NPVS4 software by use of technical and economical parameters. After that, production planning of Morvarid iron ores is done in two ways as followes: innovative method and multi mining. in the innovative way, the four anomalies regarded as a unique mine and the production planning performed with the 3 push backs wherein the total of reservoir in the mining life time is 1600990 tons with the 29796467 $ of net present value. However in the Multi mining method, Production planning is done for each of four deposits the total of reservoir is 1600994 tons with 29836787 $ of net present value. Finally, a sensitivity analysis on the net present value shows that selling price is the most effective factor.
