Abstarct: Iran has very history in mining and mining activity. Nowadays blasting and using explosives in huge mining activities is inseparable role. Industrial explosives industry in Iran returns to 90 years ago. As a productive industry it has some issues and problems. SWOT analysis is one of recognized methods to strategic planning and determination strategic status of organs and industries. SWOT is acronym from 4 words, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. In SWOT method, industries (organs) environment split into two dimensions, internal environment (strengths, weaknesses) and external environment (opportunities, threats). After determination of quad point in SWOT platform, some questionnaire was formed to gain experts team feedbacks, in other words evaluation of quad strategic points was done. Results shown that the internal and external points are respectively 2.30 and 2.42 in 1 to 4 scale(both of them are lower than 2.50); this means that Iran’s explosive industry has defensive state in SWOT platform; due this result Iran’s explosive industry must adapt himself in defensive strategies to enhance. Some strategies determinate using SWOT matrix and also the mounted strategies ranked by analytical heuristic process
