Abstarct: Since Methods for study Chromite samples in Faryab deposit in southeast Iran like
mineralogy and exploration geophysics are not consequent, therefore we use anisotropy of
magnetic susceptibility method as known AMS, for exploration hidden and economic
Chromite lens in Faryab region. This method is baxsed on determine magnetic fabric of
grains.
AMS of 32 station core samples, were taken from field surveying, were measured by
MFK1-FA instrument in Geomagnetic laboratory of Shahrood university of technology.
Results show that k1 axes (magnetic lineation) and plane related to k1k2 axes (magnetic
foliation) are confident with chromite dominant trend and chromite bedding in field
observation.
