Abstarct: Anjir –tangeh coal washing plant was built since 1988 for coal washing of Karmozd, Kiasar and Karsang coal mine. The results of factory activity about 1.5 million tons of tailing damp near Delilam river. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of tailing damp on the environment around the factory, such as the effects of factory on plant species on mextal uptake in different growing seasons. The results showed that mextals concentrations in soils and plants is in normal range and tailing was not polluted soil and plant in around. This tailing increased concentration of Cr in soil , Cd in plants and not significant effects in concentration of other mextals in near factory and control area. Results showed that the plant species has significant effects on mextal uptake. Rubus ulmifolius is uptake Cd and Chenopodium album L has showed minimum availability for uptake of Cr in summer. The concentration of mextals in plants in autumn was more than summer. The greenhouse experiment showed that the bio-avalibity of phosphorus decreased in plant grown in tailing soil. Trifolium sp showed that a low translocation factor for Cd which is important in phytoremediation. The plant can accumulate Cd in roots and the shoot have lower concentration of Cd. The results may important in remediation of tailing damps.
