Abstarct: In recent decades, geophysical methods have become increasingly important as a key tool in the exploration of mineral deposits, especially in areas covered by alluvial deposits. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the shape and depth of mineral masses in the Negin exploration area located in the northeast of Yazd province, approximately 25 km north of Bafgh city and 18 km north of the Choghart iron ore mine, respectively. This area is geologically mainly composed of intermediate to acidic intrusive masses, and in this regard, 3D inverse modeling of magnetometric data using the Lee-Oldenberg algorithm from the Department of Geophysics, University of British Columbia (UBC) in MAG3D software was used. After initial data processing in Oasis Montaj Geosoft software, the inversion process was performed in a constrained manner using local geological information. The output of this process provided a 3D model of the distribution of magnetic susceptibility in the subsurface, which allowed for integrated interpretation and reduced interpretative ambiguities. The modeling results revealed the existence of an intrusive mass with physical characteristics in the main parts of the study area. baxsed on the quantitative analysis of the final model, the approximate depth of the upper part of this mass was estimated to be 60 meters from the ground surface. The agreement between the inversion model and the exploration drilling data in the area confirmed the accuracy and reliability of the method used. This study shows that the application of magnetometric data in the frxamework of 3D inverse modeling with the Lee-Oldenberg algorithm can provide a comprehensive and reliable picture of hidden mineral structures and, by reducing uncertainty and optimally determining drilling targets, help increase the economic efficiency of exploration stages in similar areas.
