Abstarct: One of the most effective methods in exploring oxide and sulfide mineralization, especially for copper mineralization, is the induced polarization (IP) method. Generally, the resistivity method (Res) is used in conjunction with IP to complement findings and results. In this study, a 50-hectare area located in the eastern part of Isfahan, south of Naein city and approximately 13 kilometers south of Benvid village in Naein county, was investigated. Surface indications of copper oxide, gold, and iron mineralization were observed in the area, predominantly featuring malachite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, and calcite minerals.Initially, baxsed on surface mineralization observations within the mining area, electric studies were conducted using IP and resistivity methods on 9 profiles with dipole-dipole arrays. The objective of implementing IP/Res geophysical studies in this area was to assess the possibility of induced polarization chargeability zones and identify high-potential mineralization zones. Subsequently, data processing and modeling were performed using Res2DINV and ResIPy software. Two-dimensional modeling was carried out for all profiles, and due to the uneven spacing between profiles, three-dimensional modeling was limited to five profiles using ResIPy software. ResIPy software, baxsed on Python programming and employing cR2/R2 codes for inversion and forward modeling, is one of the modern software tools for resistivity and IP data modeling. It offers advanced data processing capabilities, triangular and rectangular mesh discretization baxsed on the most accurate topographic models, error modeling, and visualization of 2D and 3D modeling results. In this research, only profiles close to each other were interpreted. baxsed on these results, five drilling points were proposed for optimal exploitation of mineral reserves.
