Abstract
Kojarestan’s Lead and Zinc exploration area located in the South of Kojarestan village. This village lies in 40 kilometers NorthWest of Khomein city in Markazi province. As a part of Urmia-Bazman magmatic belt and Sanandaj-Sirjan zone, Markazi province has significant mineral potential. The area of the ore deposit is located in the middle part of Sanandaj-Sirjan zone and the mextallurgical axis of Malair-Isfahan. The main mextallic minerals in this area are Galena, Sphalerite, Geothic and to a much lesser extent Chalcopyrite, Pyrite and Malachite. Mineralization often occurred in Limestone. This study was carried out by Shayan Madden Sharq Mining Development company, with collection 1500 points in the form of six profiles, four profiles in North-South dircetation and two profiles in East-West dircetation with Dipole-Dipole electrode arrangement and with electrode distances of 10 and 15 meters for Lead and Zinc discovery.
In this research, inverse modeling has been carried out on the collected geophysical data using RES2DINV software and the results using geological information have led to the indemnification of Lead and Zinc mineralization zone in Kojarestan area. baxsed on the results obtained, Lead and Zinc zones have hige chargeability and medium to high resisitivity values, are located in the alternating laxyering of Marl and Limestone and fault fractures.baxsed on this three exploratory boreholes for drilling of profiles G, H, and I, respectively, BH1 with 30 meters depth, BH2 with 15 meters depth and BH3 20 meters depth in order to reach Lead and Zinc deposit suggested.
