Abstarct: All human needs are met by the planet, and the mining and agricultural industries are two main sources of these needs. Mineral deposits are generally extracted from the earth either by underground or surface mining methods with the objective of extracting the ore at a profit. Open pit mining is one of the most-important methods of surface mining. We need to schedule for production in this method. The open pit mine production scheduling problem can be defined as specifying the sequence in which “blocks” should be removed from the mine in order to maximize the total discounted profit from the mine subject to a variety of physical and economical constraints. One of the important challenge in mine planning problem is the selection of a method for solving this problem. Due to mine planning problem as a large scale problem, solving this problem by mathematical model is complex, Time-consuming and they are computationally high expensive. Therefore mextaheuristic algorithms are suitable alternatives to mathematical models. In this research differential evolution algorithm is purposed for solving of the production scheduling problem on two models (real and unreal block model) for which the ultimate pit limit is determined by dynamic Programming method. For performance evaluation of mextaheuristic algorithm, on unreal block model dynamic Programming method is used. Net Present value is computed by differential evolution algorithm for three different value of algorithm’s constant. Due to inflexibility of number of blocks in dynamic Programming method method, the basis of comparison is not true. For 2-D real blocl model, computed NPV for three sections respectively are equal to 2.36, 5.93 and 27.44 m$.
