Abstarct: Although Internet of Things (IoT) for smart cities and smart networks have much more advantages in comparison with other traditional communication technologies, but rarely implemented. This thesis baxsed on comprehensive reviews of research literatures in order to reduce the gap between attained application developments like management of smart cities and perspective of these applications fusion within an active environment baxsed on big data. We recommend a comprehensive frxamework that contains different components of IoT architecture baxsed on big data or other recommended frxameworks exist in research literature. Our goal is that the recommended frxamework could include components of a smart city on a cloud solution baxsed on IoT. We recognize a smart city management model and the most important principals that must be applied in a city baxsed on cloud calculation. In addition to talking about practical design challenges stressed on data processing, we talk about communication protocols of smart cities and their collaborative capabilities. We believe that the comprehensive frxamework in this thesis could be used for future developers as a comprehensive data baxse for smart (intelligent) solution baxsed on IoT
