Abstarct: Electromagnetic launcher due to its intrinsic advantages over chemical guns, such as lack of smoke, sound and ignition during firing, multiple usability, no need to connect bullets and tubes, and the ability to access speeds High, has a high potential for use in military, spatial and industrial applications. In this thesis, an induction coilgun is being designed. Then, this design is performed by JMAG-Designer's finite element software. The results are verified using the analytical model and the Simulixnk Matlab. Then, the performance of the designed gun (especially the projectile speed) was improved by modifying the gun stator coil parameters through a trial and error method in the JMAG-Designer finite element software environment, changing the structure of the cylindrical-to-cone induction coilgun, and using the magnetic core. The effect of the change in the shape of the projectile from copper to aluminum and the change in the structure of the projectile from the state of the solenoid to the integrated effect on the performance of the induction coilgun has been made. Finally, an induction is made and its results are compared with simulation results. The results of practical experiments confirm the simulation results.
