Abstarct: In this thesis, a control method baxsed on Adaptive Inverse Control (AIC) and adaptive state feedback presented for quarter active suspension system with electrohydraulic actuator. Two control loops, consist an internal loop and an external loop, are used in this method. Internal control loop, consist adaptive inverse controller and nonlinear actuator model, used for desired-force tracking generated by adaptive state feedback in external loop, so that adaptive inverse controller with identifying inverse model of nonlinear actuator and being series with nonlinear actuator model, make up a unity function. Adaptive state feedback has been used in external control loop that determines state feedback gain without system model. Finally, for overcome all uncertainties consist uncertainties originating from internal control loop, a robust control has been designed in external loop. Results of this method shows that this method can improve performance of active suspension system and provide ride comfort and road handling.
