Abstarct: In this paper utilization of a boost converter for control of photovoltaic power using Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control mechanism is presented. Fuzzy PID, Adaptive Fuzzy PID and Adaptive Fuzzy are three methods which are presented to control the system. In the first method, three Fuzzy systems are designed to tune the parameters of the PID controller. In the second method, other two Fuzzy systems are used to improve the first method. This means that input scaling factors of fuzzy systems are tuned by another tow fuzzy system. Finally, in the last method a indirect adaptive fuzzy system is presented. In this method part of the system’s dynamic estimated with a fuzzy system. The output membership functions centers of fuzzy system are tuned by some rules that obtain baxse on positive definite function. Since structure of this method is very simpler than two other method, this controller need less process than two other controller. In addition by comparing the performance of controller it is seen that this tuned performed better than two other method; this performance difference is clear when external disturbance is applied to the system. Proof of stability for all control is done.
