Abstarct: Reconstruction of medium and high voltage electric motors is of particular importance due to the high cost of replacing this equipment and their vital role in the continuity and stability of industrial processes. Therefore, timely and minimal reconstruction process are considered a technical and operational necessity. Failure of this equipment generally occur in six main parts, including the frxame, core, coils, shaft, cooling and bearings. These damages often occur simultaneously or sequentially and in a short time, which in turn increases the complexity of the reconstruction process. From a technical perspective, the reconstruction process requires the provision of raw materials, the selection of an appropriate reconstruction method and a cost estimate. In many cases, it is simply not possible to provide the original raw materials used by the original manufacturer and alternative materials must be used. This replacement sometimes requires the purchase of materials from abroad and naturally entails higher costs such as international transportation, customs duties, brokerage, currency conversion, and exchange rate fluctuations. Therefore, sourcing alternative raw materials and selecting the appropriate reconstruction method are an integral part of the electric motor redesign process. Since the undamaged components of the electric motor must generally be preserved unchanged during the reconstruction process, the redesign of a damaged electric motor faces much greater limitations than the complete design of a new electric motor. Accordingly, this thesis examines the challenges of redesigning electric motors in need of reconstruction with a new approach. On the other hand, from the perspective of industrial-economic enterprises, as the main plaxyers in the field of electric motor reconstruction, estimation of reconstruction costs is of great importance for effective participation in tenders and creating a competitive advantage. As a result, determining the pricing strategy and extracting the reconstruction price model is defined as one of the key objectives of this thesis. In short, this thesis has tried to comprehensively consider the technical-economic requirements and limitations, material supply conditions, manufacturing processes and implementation considerations, and finally, present methods for solving practical problems that can be used in the electrical motors reconstruction industries.
