A large part of the energy consumption, especially in the summer, is related to the energy consumption to supply the required cooling of the buildings. The most common methods for creating cooling are the use of condensation and absorption refrigeration systems. But in recent years, other methods baxsed on surface absorption have been evaluated, and examples of these systems have also been offered to the market. But inside the country, this method has only been evaluated at the laboratory level. On the other hand, the use of solar energy in these systems has received much attention. In this regard, in this research, a sample of water-silica gel surface solar absorption cooling system has been built and evaluated. This device includes a bed containing silica gel, condenser, evaporator, heating supply system and cooling water circulation system. The feature of this device compared to similar samples is the use of a common chamber for placing the bed and condenser. After construction, the system was tested in the climatic conditions of Shahrood and the performance data of the system was extracted. The solar section also includes vacuum tube collectors that have a suitable efficiency for absorbing solar energy. The cooling created at the end of each cycle has been measured according to the temperature change created in the evaporator, but the required heating and cooling power has been measured and reported instantaneously. baxsed on this, in each cooling cycle, it was in the range of 1.3 to 1.8 kilowatt hours. Also, the maximum heating power of this cycle was in the range of 1.8. Accordingly, in the various tests performed, the calculated performance coefficient for this system has been obtained in the range of 0.035 to 0.048.
