TJ628 : Numerical modeling of heat transfer in hyperthermia in cancer treatment

Abstarct: Nowadays the importance of achivment to the way or ways of effective cancer diagnose is completely obvious, however the present common treatment planning include radiotherapy and chemo are not adequetly enough or have high destructive effects.
Magnetic fluid hyperthermia is one of the methods that these days is introduced to diagnoses of cancer. the mechanisms of heat production is done by superparamagnetic nanoparticle when ac magnetic field is applied which leads to cell fever to aims eradicate cancer cells.
Heterogenous tempreture distribution, inadequate heat disspation and unkown tumor envirment are obstacles to progressing this approach to achieve an effective treatment.
Indeed the hyperthermia method required a appropriate heating model which analyse the heating source and its surrounding include tumor and healthy tissue completely, inaddition for any kind of tumor and for different situation offer proper diagnose process sothat maximaize tumor tissue destruction.
In this research hyperthermia process with consideration of tumor and healthy tissue as porous media and under different heating situation, geometry will be discussed. additionally effect of effective blood vessels on heat transfer process will be studied. the goal of this research is,obtain tempreture profile on situations which is told above,computing average tumor tempreture and inneed time for best tumor treatment in appropriate with average tumor tempreture.
