Abstarct: In this study ‚ numerical investigation of electro-osmotic flows in micro-scale channels are studied using lattice Boltzmann method for static properties.
The governing equations are solved with lattice-Boltzmann method and every stage is simulated through iteration procedure.
The equations in question are Navier-stokes, Poisson-Boltzmann and ionic density distribution equations. All physical properties for ionic fluid are considered as constants. The temperature is also considered as a constant parameter during the entire procedure (T=273 k). The boundary conditions for geometry at hand are the alternative boundary condition for flow equation and ionic density.
