Abstarct: The present study aims to analyze monthly and annual temperature and precipitation trends of PERSIANN-CDR, MSWEP and CHIRPS satellite precipitation products and ERA5 and CRU TS v4.07 temperature products in 31 synoptic stations of Iran for the period 1983-1984 to 2020-2021 using Modified Mann-Kendall test (MMK), innovative trend (ITA) and wavelet transform analysis were performed. The accuracy of the data sets of temperature and precipitation products were evaluated using the root mean square error (RMSE) and explanation coefficient (R2), relative deviation (BIAS) and Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient (NSE). The results of the evaluation of precipitation and temperature products showed the superiority of each product in different regions of Iran. The selected products were analyzed along with the synoptic stations in order to study the trend of precipitation and temperature changes. The results of all three methods in the seasonal, monthly and annual scale of temperature and precipitation in observation stations and satellite products showed that in the 38-year period, temperature has increased and precipitation has decreased in most parts of the country. In addition, the results showed that the ITA method had more ability to identify the trends that the other two methods were unable to identify.
