Abstarct: Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) is a type of hot mix asphalt that consists of a coarse aggregate skeleton and a high percentage of bitumen. Due to its coarse aggregate structure and stone-on-stone contact, SMA mixtures exhibit high resistance to rutting. In this research, we aim to produce a Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) mixture that is rut-resistant and environmentally friendly. Waste materials pose a danger to the environment and reduce living space by occupying landfill sites. According to previous studies, some waste materials can be used as aggregate or additives in various asphalt mixtures. Therefore, we used plastic bottles (PET) and waste foundry sand (WFS), and examined the effect of adding different amounts of these materials on moisture sensitivity, SCB (semi-circular bending test), and static creep. According to the obtained results, SMA asphalt mixtures containing WFS and PET meet the minimum criteria of pavement standards.
