Abstarct: Buried structures are always subject to earthquake and fault movement damage. They are more likely to fail as they close to the source of the damage. Damage factors include fault movement, which causes adjacent structures, including buried pipelines, lead to deform or break. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct more detailed studies for evaluation of buried pipe response. Numerical modeling of pipelines by software is one of the ways to study pipe behavior subjected to fault movement. In this research, 3-D strike-slip fault movement has been simulated by ABAQUS. The behavior of steel pipe in clayey type 1 soil has been studied. Also the deformation of the pipeline group together and the interaction of the pipes have been studied. According to the results, burying of the pipes, with the horizontal arrangement, reduces the deformation of the cross sections. Also, under certain condition, burying the pipe lines with a triangular arrangement can prevent buckling. Increasing the D / t ratio in the pipes increases the cross-section deformation and, if the D / t ratio is different in the pipes, by burying the pipe with the highest D / t ratio as the first pipe - directed to fault move- the fault, it can reduce other pipes deforming.
