Abstarct: Many bridges, which are considered to be the most important communication structures, are annually destroyed for various reasons. Scouring around the bridge piers is one of the most important reasons for the instability and destruction of bridges. The study of scouring bridges has an extraordinary importance in the design of the safety of foundations and other hydraulic structures. Therefore, the reduction of scouring has been investigated by hydraulic engineers and so far, many studies have been done to estimate the depth and severity of scouring around the pier baxses. In this research, FLOW-3D software was used for flow modeling and scouring modeling with regard to the 3D nature of the flow around the baxses. The FLOW-3D software is a suitable model for solving complex fluid dynamics problems, and the equation solving method in this software is baxsed on finite volume method. Also, in order to calibrate the model, a variety of turbulent models are used, and the results show that the turbulent model of LES is very accurate in calculating the scour around twin bridge piers, and there is a good agreement between numerical and experimental results. In the following, the deformation of the baxses is studied and the results show that with the baxse deformation the scouring rate is 28/3% reduced compared to the simulated model with the cylindrical baxse.
