Abstarct: Sedimentation is one of the most important factors threatening proper operation of ports. The complexity and number incoming parameters in marine structures and breakwaters under different environmental conditions and behavioral functions also administrative costs of these structures, their design sensitivity has increased. Sedimentation rate In addition to the features available in the ports and channels and the flow of sediments and wave prevailing in the region geometry And the location of the port and access channel as well. Ports appropriate geometric design, breakwater layout And access channel, can reduce the sedimentation in ports. To evaluate the quality and quantity of Sedimentation in ports and channels of access The numerical models and physical models are used. Compared with physical models, numerical models are less expensive and easier to use itوAs a result, their use is more common. The present study investigated the effect of geometry and shape of ports on the process of sedimentation in their plans, and as case has been studied Noshahr Port. By using numerical modeling software with Mike 21, 7 development plan, to reduce sedimentation in the port of Noshahr studied and compared. The results two categories baxsed on amount of sedimentation and administrative costs were scored and at the end, The results showed that the breakwater of the port development plan, which as create a 200-meter picket on it, As the best state of sedimentation and administrative expenditure, was chosen.
