Abstarct: Creating favorable conditions in order to increase the growth and yield of crops is one of the most important goals of agriculture, since crops face various environmental stresses during the growing season, and given that millet is one of the most important crops in The areas are arid and semi-arid, creating favorable conditions for growth and ultimately increasing the grain yield of this product seems to be very necessary and important. In order to investigate the effect of foliar application of salicylic acid and humic acid on grain growth and grain yield of different millet cultivars in the crop year 2019 in the educational-research farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Shahroud University of Technology was conducted. The experiment was performed as a factorial split plot in a randomized complete block design with 3 replications. The main factors of cultivar (Ukrainian, Bostan and Peshahang) and the sub-factors of the experiment included the use of salicylic acid and the use of humic acid. Irrigation after planting was done in barley and ridge with irrigation cycle of 7 days and all experimental plots were irrigated equally at each stage of irrigation and salicylic acid (0, 400 mg / l) and humic acid (0, 600 mg / l). Each was sprayed in two stages. In this experiment, traits such as photosynthetic pigments, relative leaf water content, grain yield components, grain yield and biological yield were measured. The results of this experiment showed that salicylic acid and humic acid improved the measured traits in this experiment so that the photosynthetic pigments (a, b) under the influence of these two compounds were significantly increased compared to the non-use of these compounds. Also, the relative content of leaf water and proline increased with the use of salicylic acid and humic acid. Also, the results of this experiment showed that the 1000-seed weight and number of seeds per millet plant increased significantly with the use of salicylic acid and humic acid. Grain yield was observed in the treatment of 600 ml humic acid and Ukrainian cultivar which was equal to 1426 kg / ha. In general, the results of this experiment showed that the application of humic acid and salicylic acid increased grain yield in all studied cultivars and Ukrainian cultivar ratio It is more suitable for both ancient and pioneer cultivars in the studied traits.
