Abstarct: The earth and its habitants were interfaced with different environmental problems the onset of industrial revolution. In fact increasing the population has been caused to the growth of human demands, and in recent century technology and science improvement and quick development of industry, has brought pollution of various environmental parts with any chemical pollutants. Air,water and soil environmental pollution by various chemical industries is a serious problem.Among chemical industries, petrochemical plants have special importance. Now petrochemical industry has encountered with important challenges about air, soil and water pollution. Petrochemical complex includes big oil refinery and petrochemical plants. Petrochemical industry by its activities nature is considered as a potential source of production and diffusion of various kinds of dangerous and waste materials into the environment. This study had accomplished for awareness about heavy elements of soil in the surrounding lands of Bojnourd petrochemical complex. Sample collection had accomplished of 45 points of studying area accidentally. And at the same time with sampling by GPS,the samples had been placeholder. Necessary experiments of selected parameters of study that includes salinity, soil reaction, organic carbon, texture and some heavy elements including iron, manganese, lead, nickel, chrome etc..was made by standard laboratory methods and also data interpolation and their analysis by use of Geographic Information System(GIS(. The analysis demonstrated that studied area's soils have high level of lime and also soil reaction in most points of the studied area showed a big number. Organic carbon level in the studied area was low and it's soil therefore is considered as poor soil. Heavy elements condition were such that none of them were more than universal standards and/or they were near to universal standards. Finally it was concluded that necessary measures must be made to increase organic carbon level, and since PH and lime level of soil was high it must be thought necessary measures to decrease these two parameters. It must be done more experiments with different elements in future years.
