Abstarct: Nowadays, the application of antioxidants and plant growth regulators has bean
discussed for decreasing the negative effect of different stresses. Amino acid and
potassium as one of this matter that causes resistance of plant to stress. To investigate
this subject an experiment was conducted in 2014 at the University of shahrood.
Experimental design was split factorial baxsed on randomized complete block design
with three replications. Treatments were 2 levels of water deficit stress (8 days and 16
days) as main plot and three levels of amino acid mixture foliar application (0, 400 and
600 ppm) and three levels of potassium foliar application (0, 15 and 30 mM) as sub
plots. In this experiment water deficit stress reduced leaf area, capitol and stem dry
weight, leaf relative water content, stem heignt, seed yield, chlorophyll a and b, total
chlorophyll and potassium in leaf. The namber of infertile seed increased in stress
conditions (16 days). Amino acid foliar application increasea leaf stem and capitol dry
weight, kernet to seed coat ratio, 1000 seed weight and number of seeds in capitol. Leaf
dry weight, stem height, number of seed in capitol, seed yield, leaf relative water
content, chlorophyll and potassium of seed were some of traits that significantly
increased by use of potassium. Percent of protein and seed oil increased by use this
substance in its high level (30 mM) in order 1.6 percent and 2.67 percent respectively.
Potassium decre ased the of number of hollow seeds per capitol. Foliar application of
amino acid and potassium mixture could greatly improve the harmpul effect of
irrigation stress, and finally in the range of this research can introduced intraction of 400
ppm amino acid mixture with 15 mM potassium as a best combinined treatment.
