Abstarct: In order to evaluate and compare the effects of hydropriming and osmopriming in different levels of sulfur on the yield and yield components of maize single crass 704, in 2013 growing season a factorial experiment in a randomized complete block design with three replications implemented at the research Field of Faculty of Agriculture of University of Shahrood which is located in Bastam. In this study treatments were include of hydro priming (application and non-application), osmo priming (application and non-application) and sulfur fertilizer in three levels of control (non-application of sulfur), 200 and 400 Kg/ha in the presence and non-presence of weeds. The results of comparison of means show that dual interaction of hydro priming and application of 200 kg/ha substantiated a significant increase compare to control in plant height, biological yield and harvest index In condition of weeding and plant height In condition of non-weeding. The triple interaction of hydro priming × osmopriming × sulfur was significantly increased compared to control in chlorophyll content (number of Spad), chlorophyll b, a, total chlorophyll and weight of 100 seeds in condition of weeding and chlorophyll b, a, total chlorophyll, dry weight of narrow-leaf and broadleaf weed condition of non-weeding. The highest grain yield in condition of weeding was 5487 kg/ha that belonged to the interaction of hydro priming × non-osmopriming, which had 29% increase relative to the interaction of the non-hydro priming × non-osmopriming and had no significant difference with hydro priming × osmopriming. The highest grain yield in condition of non-weeding was 4598 kg/ha that belonged to the interaction of hydro priming × osmopriming, which had 36/48% increase relative to the interaction of the non-hydro priming × non-osmopriming. The highest biological yield in condition of weeding was 13540 kg/ha that belonged to the interaction of hydro priming × 200 kg/ha sulfur, which had 21/5% increase relative to the control treatment and had no significant difference with hydro priming × 400 kg/ha sulfur. The highest biological yield in condition of non-weeding was 11170 kg/ha that belonged to the interaction of hydro priming × osmopriming treatment, which had 19/07% increase relative to non-hydro priming × non-osmopriming treatment. The highest amount of harvest index in condition of weeding was 38/15% that belonged to the interaction of hydro priming × 200 kg/ha sulfur and had 10/88% increase relative to the control treatment and the lowest amount of harvest index had 0/29% decrease relative to the control treatment. The highest amount of harvest index had no significant difference with hydro priming × 400 kg/ha sulfur treatment. In general, baxsed on the results of this study dual interaction of hydro priming with the application of 200 kg/ha sulfur can be introduced as the best treatment with the best traits of yield and yield components and deal with the weeds.
