Abstarct: Pirmardan copper deposit is located in 110 Km south of Shahroud in Semnan province and in the northern structural zone of central Iran in the volcanic- sedimentary strip of Turd- Chah Shirin. Geometric and geometric shape of the mineral in these stratigraphic and stratigraphic mines are the major minerals of andesite basalt Porphyry basalt with Eocene age. Mineralization in the study area under the influence of fault processes can be observed in the form of streaks and voids. in these deposits, chalcocite, borneite and chalcopyrite are the main copper sulfides associated with malachite. Mineral structure and texture are in the form of empty space filler, filler grain, vein- sub vein and substitution. Major alteration in this deposit include carbonate, silica, sericite, argillic along with iron oxide and hydroxides. baxsed on features such as geometric shapes of mineral, mineralization, alteration, construction and texture, mineralogy of Pirmardan copper deposit show many similarities with Manto Type deposits in the world. The occurrence of this type of copper mineralization in pirmardan region indicates the importance of volcanic rock – related processes in copper mineralization, in addition to the processes related to mineralization producing plutonism.
