Abstarct: The study area is part of the Alborz Zone from Telmadrah to Kayasar from the province of Mazandaran. In order to determine the structural characteristics and its relation to the slope stability, as well as to determine the location of the landslide and effective tectonic factors in the occurrence of the area. Stratigraphic studies confirm the existence of Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic rock units with a general north-east-southwest direction. The geomorphology of the area is mainly affected by structural factors (folds and faults) and the genus of rock units. The studied folds, according to the classification Fluty (1964), are baxsed on the angle between the two edges, are mostly open, gentle and more restricted in the closed category. According to another classification (Fluty, 1964), in the study of the position of the folding geometry baxsed on the axial slope and the hinged line, the region's folds are mainly in the SubHorizontal,Upright and some in the Recumbent.SubHorizontal ridge. Main faults with north-east-southwest direction such as langar fault which have a left inverse mechanism. The sub faults studied are reversed, normal, and slipped, and different barons that may indicate a phantom change locally in this range. Then, check the landslide that is rotational. This landslide is an active landslide due to continuous movements and the destruction of roadside gabions. The site is located along the main road of Damghan-Kayasar in the Mubarak Formation and northwestern direction. The fault zone at the slipping point firstly created the valley and thus sloped the range, as well as crushing the Mubarak resistant laxyers and helping to increase the field erosion for the slope instability. The studied area is seismically (due to the main faults of Kharz and north of Alborz and ... around the region), is also an active region, and numerous vibrations can be very effective in increasing the slope instability.
