Abstarct: Artificial Recharge as a method of improving water table and protection of underground water resources are known to be. According to Iran's geographic location which is located in the dry belt of desert world, water deficiency always is a major problem in most parts of the county. Shahrood County, including areas that anymore due to the increasing agricultural and other uses, the water balance is negative and there is a need to strengthen underground water supplies. In this study, GIS technology to locate the best location artificial recharge is used. For this purpose, the parameters of slope, landuse, distance from rivers, soil texture, lithology and depth of watertable are used. Then, the laxyer information of these parameters were prepared and weighed by applying AHP method. Finaly, by integrating and overlaping of the prameters, artificial Recharge suitable map was derived. The most suitable areas were recalssified by economic parameters such as access to roads, near the river and the values of land in the area. By this method, 14 most appropriate areas were proposed. Amongest them 5 areas with highest suitability are located in the 21 km East Biarjomnd, 3 km North East Trood, 18 km East of Abbas Abad, West of Talkhab Village and near Ahmadabad village
