Abstarct: The Reza Abad agates, which are parts of magmatic belt of north Central Iran, are located in 150 km SE of Shahrood in Eocene volcanic host rocks and in NW of Reza Abad village. The host rocks of these agates mainly comprise of basalt, basaltic andesite and pyroclastic rocks. The Reza Abad agates have different colors such as red, brown, yellow, green, gray, white and black and are often observed as veins which are vary in thicknesses from 3 mm to 30 cm. Although the agates of the area have their own beauty and charm, most of them are white and colorless which are not popular with people.
