Abstarct: Zafarghand granitoidic pluton is located in the 40 km of SE Ardestan and 160 km of NE Isfahan. This pluton is one of the granitoidic pluton of Orumieh Dokhtar structural zone and its lithological composition range includes: gabbros, diorites, granodiorites and granites (show range of acidic composion to basic). Diorite and granodiorite composition include the main part of this pluton. Gabbros outcropped in the very limited areas (with a few kilometers extent) and they gradually evolved to diorite. Granites mainly have whitish cream color and they intruded in the main parts of Zafarghand granitoidic pluton in the form of dike or small stocks, and they are the evidence of late stage magmatic activities of this pluton. Mafic microgranular enclaves are present in very extensive area and they confirm magma mixing process during formation of this pluton. This pluton was intruded in Eocene volcaniclastics rocks and Eocene volcanic and volcano sedimentary are host rocks. Some andesitic dikes cut host rocks and granitoidic pluton. This pluton investigated in the light of Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility (AMS) method. Emplacement mechanism of granitoidic rocks is it possible to determine by AMS method. In this direction, we took 294 cores and 1008 samples from 123 stations. Magnetic parameters of these samples have been measured in the magnetic lab of Shahrood University of technology by MFK1-FA kappabridge machine. The measured mean magnetic susceptibility (Km in µSI) of the different rock groups are as follows: Gabbros (38120), diorites (26558), granodiorites (16922) and granites (9885). baxsed on these values gabbros and diorites have higher magnetic susceptibility. Km values which they are more than (500 µSI) indicate that studied granitoidic rocks are ferromagnetic and correlate with I-type granitoids. This characteristic confirmed by the presence of magnetite in thin sections, polished sections and thermal magnetic diagrams. The range of anisotropy parameter (P) increase from granite to diorite. The range of shape parameter (T) are between (-0.754) to (+0.985). Magnetic ellipsoid forms often are positive and Prolate. Magnetic lineations and foliations which define on the baxse of magnetic parameters, it is possible to divide this pluton to 5 domains (1A، 1B، 2، 3، 4 و 5) , baxsed on field observations, patterns of magnetic lineations and foliations, dip of magnetic lineations, mean magnetic susceptibility, magnetic anisotropy and shape parameter. Magnetic lineation and foliations parameters in diorite and gabbros have higher dip and shows they probably are the main magma feeder zone (2 & 4 domains). So, diorite and gabbros shows very steep magnetic lineations in 2 & 4 domains and it looks like these domains is the main feeder zone of Zafarghand granitoidic pluton. In the other parts of this pluton, dips of magnetic lineations and foliations are very low and are subhorizental. These characteristics illustrate that these domains have been emplaced as a large sill in 1A، 1B، 3 and 5 domains. Moreover, existence of fragmented and buoyant mafic dikes (with subhorizental position) confirms this model of emplacement.
