Abstarct: Asef Mountain is the northern zone of Shiraz City that is a part of west-southern of folded Zagros. Folded Zagros zone is one of the active tectonic of Iran. In this region, Cenozoic Formation is folded by tectonic press. The results of previous studies indicate that axial surface of folded have dominant trend of north western-south eastern which is following Zagros general trend. These folds are placed in the classes naming upright- gentely plunging, steeply inclined- gentely plunging, steeply inclined- moderately plunging, upright- moderately plunging, upright- sub- horizontal, moderately inclined- sub- horizontal, moderately inclined- gentely plunging classes with respect to geometry and floating divisions, on the basis of axial surface and hinge line trend in Cenozoic formations. Also these folds are located in close and open fold classes on the basis of limbs inclination. According to Rickard classification, the folds of studied region are located in the fold’s classification, Upright Folds, Horizontal Folds, Inclined Folds on basis of axial decline and axial surface and Rike axis. Asef Mountain limited by Kattah fault and Zarghan fault, from north and Sadra fault from south. Sadra and Zarghan faults are faults which are passing Quaternary sediments, moreover these faults form Cenozoic units boundary in their northern and southern amplitudes. The studying on satellite images and field observations indicate that Kattah, Zarghan, and Sadra faults are inverse type along lateral strike slip component. Furthermore, latitude fault F4 with north west-south east direction has inverse mechanics. with strike-slip lateral component. The morphotectonic activities of this region with some hints could be mentioned such the difference of topography in region, faulting scarp, faulting valley, faulting scarp, right lateral drainage which affected morpotectonic view.
