Abstarct: Shahrood county with 51419 Km2 space, is the biggest county in Semnan province and tend to the geographic situation, also ling in Tehran- Mashhad traverse, have increasing situation. Beside in the reason of water resource leakage in local, custody of surface and ground water had upside importance. Regard to the solid waste material management and discover the proper place for sanitary landfill immediately is being.
Present research was accomplished with a view to assessment the modern qualification in county, assessment the environmental affect of present waste burial site and then offer the executive method for improvement the waste management in county. Tend to this purpose, caught the real data from waste qualification of Shahrood municipality and quantity and quality of solid waste with taking pieces of them was nominated. Study of the local waste was shown that before 90% of county waste had the resumption ability and before 60% of this extent is organic matter that is able to reduction to compost. For assessment of soil and surface and ground water probable treatment was take the 11 samples from soil and 2 samples of water of environs of burial site and survey the several parameters such as BOD, COD and heavy mextals. The results were showing that soil and surface water treatment in local. The transcending of soil lateral permeability is one of the reasons for quick transmission to the surface water. Also in this research, with the portion of parameters such as: geology, soil, topography, surface and ground water resources, range path and power transmittal lines that have high importance in landfill site selection and with the GIS method product the tendency map for burial. The municipal waste in the 30Km beam of Shahrood city and then offer the best place for landfilling in study confine.
